Chasing Tinago Falls



Tinago Falls is one of the popular waterfall attractions offered by the province of Biliran. The magnificent falls sits its beauty in the rain forest of Brgy. Cabibihan, Caibiran. The name "Tinago,” means "hidden" as it is related to a hidden treasure. The fall bared a height of around 90 feet; it offers a breathtaking scene of water and rock surrounded by trees.






HOW TO GET THERE
From Ormoc City ride a van that goes to Naval, Biliran. Driver will drop you at the terminal. Travel time is 2 hours. Cost is Php130.

You can charter a habal-habal driver at the terminal. Tell the driver you intend to go to Tinago Falls in Brgy. Cabibihan in Caibiran. Travel time is 40 minutes. Cost is Php400 roundtrip or it depends on how you negotiate with the driver.

WHERE TO EAT AND STAY
Bring your own packed meals and other needed things. There were no rooms for rent and store in the fall. Overnight is not allowed. Entrance fee for adult is Php20 and for minor is Php10.
