Ang Saya Saya sa Sayahan Falls

This newly discovered waterfall situated in Brgy. Gaas in Ormoc City, Leyte is fastly becaming one of the Eastern Visayas' tourist destination.

It'll be 45 to 60 minutes of trek on a rocky road, wild grasses and trees, but I promise you that everything is totally worth it once you reach the falls.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Ormoc City terminal, take a multicab/jeepney that goes to Brgy. Gaas and tell the driver you intend to go to Sayahan Falls or drop you at Sitio Maglahug. Travel time is 45 minutes. Regular fare is ₱80 one-way.

Transportation is difficult in area. It's better that you'll travel in group and make an arrangement with the driver at your agreed conditions.

From the Sitio Maglahug, ask locals for a tour guide. They can guide you for a fee. You may contact Riza Vinculado to arrange your tour guide thru this number 09484759666.

THINGS TO BRING & REMEMBER:
• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes
• Pack light bag only
• Bring your own pack. No food stalls nor eateries in the falls.
• Don't leave you trashes anywhere.

"LEAVE NOTHING BUT FOOTPRINTS. TAKE NOTHING BUT MEMORIES. KILL NOTHING BUT TIME."

So there you go! Enjoy the magnificent falls and its breathtaking view. Take good shots and share it with others!
